Rev. angel Kyodo Williams

A maverick in her own right, Rev. williams is a writer, spiritual teacher, ordained Zen priest and founder of the Center for Transformative Change based in Berkeley, California.  She has been bridging the worlds of personal transformation and social justice since for 25 years, and is the author of the critically acclaimed book, Being Black: Zen and the Art of Living with Fearlessness and Grace. More recently, she co-authored Radical Dharma: Talking Race, Love and Liberation (with Lama Rod Owens and Jasmine Syedullah), an exploration of racial injustice as a barrier to collective awakening.

About All College Day

All College Day is an annual event planned by the Campus Life and Diversity. It began in 2000, in response to a racial incident and subsequent campus discussions.  A central aim of the day is to encourage reflection and dialogue on matters of campus life and community.
